Tom Gwinn, Cheif Executive Officer
I am a retired State Trooper and Sergeant with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, bringing over 15 years of frontline and supervisory law enforcement experience, combined with a proud background as a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Sergeant and Desert Storm veteran. My career has been built on service, leadership, and a commitment to integrity, training, and public safety.
From 1991 to 2006, I served the State of Ohio in multiple capacities—first as a Trooper, then as a Sergeant—where I enforced Ohio Revised Code statutes, investigated criminal activity, led patrol operations, and ensured officer performance and readiness. I’ve handled everything from crash response and evidence collection to post inspections and officer development.
As a prior Ohio Peace Officer Training Instructor, I’ve trained and mentored law enforcement personnel in critical topics like ethics, scene control, emergency response, and public interaction. My leadership style is hands-on, accountability-focused, and rooted in decades of real-world experience.
Law Enforcement Experience:

I’m a firearms instructor and training program developer with over 18 years of military leadership as a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer. Throughout my career, I’ve built, led, and executed advanced weapons safety and tactical training programs in some of the most demanding environments imaginable.
As a certified Master Training Specialist, I specialize in designing real-world, results-driven curriculum and training strategies. I’ve trained hundreds of service members—from new recruits to elite operational teams—on safe, effective use of firearms in both classroom and live-fire settings. My mission is simple: deliver no-compromise training that builds confidence, competence, and readiness from day one.

Dave Duke is a seasoned security and force protection professional with more than 25 years of experience protecting military installations, government facilities, critical infrastructure, corporate environments, schools, and places of worship across the United States and internationally. He specializes in identifying threats, assessing vulnerabilities, and developing practical security solutions that strengthen protection while supporting daily operations.
A U.S. Air Force veteran and certified Antiterrorism Level II Instructor, Dave has led vulnerability assessments, force protection operations, and security training for high-value assets and military installations in the Middle East, the Republic of Korea, and the continental United States. His expertise includes physical security surveys, access control, emergency response coordination, protective planning, and layered risk reduction strategies.
Following his military career, Dave served in senior security leadership roles, including Director of Security for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Columbus and General Manager for a national security provider. In these roles, he oversaw large-scale security operations supporting healthcare, higher education, financial services, logistics, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure organizations throughout Ohio.
Today, Dave provides comprehensive vulnerability assessments for K-12 schools, private institutions, churches, and organizations seeking to improve their security posture. His work evaluates physical security, access control, visitor management, emergency preparedness, staff readiness, and policy effectiveness, then translates findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Dave is a Doctoral Candidate pursuing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership at Liberty University, with research focused on organizational accountability, leadership alignment, and long-term security program effectiveness.
He combines military-grade force protection expertise, executive security leadership, and hands-on operational experience to deliver mission-focused solutions that improve safety, resilience, and organizational readiness.
